Song: Can’t Remember
Artist: Claude Debussy I think…
This video is from around 2000 I think and after starting the initial editing I realized the source I wanted to use in the video was really poor quality. I love the music, but I decided to shelve the video and kinda forgot about until going through my old tapes recently. This video will be added to my list of videos to do! I hope you enjoy this window to the past…
I have posted my Nausicaa – Loved by the Sun video which I am going to be remastering, but I didn’t see why I shouldn’t post the old version here until I have finished the new as it looks better than what is currently on YouTube.
I also posted 2 more Bandai trailers this morning… including my favorite THE BIG O! For those who know me they know I am joking as I hated making this trailer as it uses such a cheesy song.
Created: Original VHS – VHS version 1995 | Digital 1999

Song: Loved By The Sun (Legend soundtrack)
Artist: Jon Anderson and Tangerine Dream
This was the second video I ever made way back when I was using the good old VCR to VCR method. Before ever knowing what anime was I originally saw Nausicaa way back in 1982 when I was 7 and it stuck with me until I discovered anime in high school. When I found a copy of Warriors of the Wind (the crap title the US market gave it) I knew I had to make something with it and thankfully had the perfect song for it.
I know I will remaster this video yet again and maybe will find a way to get rid of the repeating girl towards the end of the song.
After neglecting my site for far too long I have started the healing… lol
I plan on added high resolution downloadable versions of what is posted currently as well as more videos. The next going online will probably be from the following.
The rest of my Bandai Trailers
Star Wars Tribute
Matrix Tribute
I am also going to see if I have digital versions of anything else recent as I am debating on digitizing my old SVHS tapes vs remastering specific videos. Basically if I don’t like the video much anymore it will be digitized lol… so I will probably digitize a lot of my really old videos haha.
This was my second entry into the AWA Masters contest which won me the green jacket and also kind of my swan song as I pretty much made only 2 videos after this one. This was my tribute to Miyazaki / Ghibli and some people said it felt like watching something at the Oscars. When I made my Far and Away / Kare Kano video I fell in love with John Williams’ Greatest Hits cd and always liked the movie Empire of the Sun. When I heard the song I was sold and knew I had to make something to it.
What I loved about this video was how I touched on almost all the series and even some of the more less seen Ghibli films. The one most haven’t seen has some of my favorite scenes in this video and that was Only Yesterday (Omohido Poro Poro). The video is somewhat self-indulgent and I know I will re-master this added in the lastest two Ghibli films.
This video was one of my last before getting too busy with my life. I must say I was amazed that this video won best comedy at AWA as it was really the first comedy I ever made. I was also happy I finally had something where I could use Master Mosquiton.
This video was painful in many ways… it was the first video where I used effects heavily and fell in love with Final Cut Pro. Of course rendering was a pain in the ass as I was layer up to 7 video layers at some points. When I had a rough edit of it I showed it to some friends with a couple women as I wanted to see if it was too offensive. As we watched it I was cringing as I knew the video was simply too much and girls confirmed it afterwards saying it was good, but that it was a bit too much. When I went back to do re-edits I wanted to layer the video and mask it to soften the subject matter. Upon showing the revised version the same girls were not offended as much as the video version…
I entered the video at Anime Central and won some award I forget, but it had to be the worst feeling ever as a young girl around 13 was sitting in front of me with her father at the AMV contest. When my video played I felt so bad lol…
When I heard this song I knew it was a perfect match for Rurouni Kenshin. The music is a classical piece so if you don’t enjoy that type of music you might not want to download this video. I felt that it captured the dynamic range of the series. Especially the beginning, when I show the beginnings of both Kenshin and ShiShio. This video is supposed to act as a teaser trailer so there aren’t many spoilers.
